This project was established for the
purposes of scientific research in the field of Saline water desalination to keep pace with global development in the same field
and to advance this important industry necessary for the process
of progress. It consists of a research building (BRC) with an area
of 44,625 m2 and consists of three floors, including the ground
floor and the first floor, on a group of Laboratories and research
rooms of the General Desalination Corporation, in addition to a
group of administrative offices, a showroom, conferences, and a
theater. As for the last floor, it was designed to consist of public
and entertainment services, such as cafés and restaurants. The
project also includes a PRE-TREATMENT area, which is a group of
experimental stages for desalinating salt water, with an area of
14,868 square feet. m2, with a production capacity of 28,000
m3 per day. The project also includes the general site, which
consists of internal roads to serve the site and connect them to
the main roads and parking lots, in addition to several services,
including gyms, various types of playgrounds, and green spaces
